Job Description

About the role

Electrical Engineer position focused on electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and repair works for industrial facilities and equipment in Singapore. The role involves handling and maintaining High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems, ensuring compliance with Singapore local regulations, electrical codes, safety requirements, and relevant BCA standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and repair works for industrial facilities and equipment

  • Handle and maintain High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial electrical systems and equipment

  • Ensure all electrical works comply with Singapore local regulations, electrical codes, safety requirements, and relevant BCA standards

  • Conduct site inspections and identify electrical faults, defects, and potential safety hazards

  • Prepare and maintain electrical maintenance reports, records, checklists, and other required documentation

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, supervisors, and site teams to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently

  • Perform work-at-height activities when applicable, in accordance with required safety procedures

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical-related issues at industrial sites

About you

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience

  • Proven industrial electrical experience in Singapore

  • Hands-on experience with both HV and LV electrical systems

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore electrical codes, local compliance requirements, and BCA standards

  • Good understanding of Singapore workplace safety requirements and safe work procedures

  • Proficient in AutoCAD

  • Work-at-height experience and relevant certification will be an advantage, where applicable

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication and coordination skills
