Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead our medium voltage switchgear digitalisation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects aimed at modernizing and digitizing switchgear systems using cutting-edge technologies such as IoT, sensors, and analytics platforms. This role requires deep technical knowledge in medium voltage switchgear as well as strong project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage medium voltage switchgear digitalisation projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, IT, and Operations to achieve project goals.
- Ensure seamless integration of digital technologies, including sensors, IoT, and analytics tools.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies.
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and potential issues to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technological innovation.
- Maintain thorough project documentation including technical specifications, progress reports, and user manuals.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience managing medium voltage switchgear R&D projects (Air-Insulated Switchgear, Gas-Insulated Switchgear, or Circuit Breakers), especially with a focus on digitalisation.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Switchgear temperature monitoring
- Partial discharge monitoring
- Circuit breaker (CB) monitoring
- GIS gas pressure monitoring
- Strong understanding of digital technologies including sensors, IoT, and analytics platforms.
- Excellent project management capabilities with experience in handling multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
