Job Summary
L R Energy Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled
Electrical Draftsman to support design and engineering activities for power and energy projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings, layouts, and documentation as per project requirements, standards, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings such as:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
- General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Cable routing and cable tray layouts.
- Earthing and lightning protection layouts.
- Control & wiring diagrams.
- Develop and modify drawings based on engineering inputs and site requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, project teams, and site personnel for drawing clarifications and updates.
- Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and revision control.
- Support as-built drawings after project completion.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and basic material take-offs, if required.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of other drafting tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems related to power plants, substations, solar/wind projects, or industrial electrical works.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
Qualification
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
Experience
- 57 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Draftsman (experience in renewable energy or power projects will be preferred).
