Electrical Designer to join our dedicated team at our office in
Vikhroli, India.
- Works with assigned design engineers and other drafters to execute design drawings and specifications as required to support assigned projects
- Prepare substation layout drawing indicating the location of all electrical panels, guided by the Engineer or as per vendors drawing
- Prepare single line diagrams for HT & LT Power Distribution, MCC SLD, Lighting & Small Power DBs SLDs
- Familiar with clearance requirements between equipment's & around the equipment as per the statutory regulations
- Prepare layout drawings such as Lighting Layouts, Power Layouts, cable tray layouts, earthing layout, and Lightning Protection Layout drawings based on the equipment layout drawing
- Prepare Street Lighting, Site Earthing Layouts
- Prepare Coordination drawings with Other MEP Services in CAD & Revit
- Prepare a civil scope drawing indicating foundation requirements, trench requirements, and panel supporting arrangement based on the equipment vendor drawing
- Prepare cable schedule & also should be able to calculate cable length
- Lighting design & calculation, including circuit numbering
- Prepare bill of materials/ Take off quantities for various electrical items as per the layout drawings
- Works with equipment suppliers/vendors to obtain the necessary information needed for design completion
- Routinely archives and retrieves data from the electronic database for support of work
- Ensures acceptable levels of quality and checks for coordination of work to assure documents reflect design intent and necessary coordination
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 6-8 Years.
- Software Skill: AutoCAD, Revit, MS Word & MS Excel, Dia lux.
