Electrical Design Manager

Mining Engineering Services, established in 2010, is a leading EPCM contractor in the DRC. We provide comprehensive solutions such as design, engineering, procurement, plant erection and commissioning, and power sector solutions including transmission and distribution lines. MES offers a variety of services including manpower, maintenance and spares, equipment rental, and more. We are also engaged in the manufacturing of HDPE pipes, cathodes and anode plates, lead ingots, and electrical wires and cables, along with operating recycling plants for copper and lead scraps, batteries, and used oil. As an all-encompassing provider, MES meets every mining need.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Design Manager located in Vadodara. The Electrical Design Manager will oversee and lead electrical design projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Additional responsibilities include supervising design engineers, reviewing and approving technical drawings, and providing technical support during installation and commissioning phases. The role also demands regular report generation on project progress and addressing any issues that may arise in the design process.

• Proficiency in electrical design, technical drawing, and CAD software
• Experience in project management and overseeing design processes
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Background in EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management) projects
• Ability to work on-site in Vadodara
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• An emphasis on safety and adherence to regulatory standards
