Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer role at ReNewX InfraTech is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. In this role, the engineer will design and develop electrical systems for solar, wind, energy storage, and other clean energy projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing single-line diagrams, load calculations, cable sizing, and power distribution layouts, as well as reviewing technical specifications and coordinating with civil, mechanical, and project teams. The engineer will support project feasibility and detailed engineering activities, participate in design reviews, and provide technical input during procurement, installation, and commissioning. The role also involves troubleshooting design issues, optimizing system performance, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for power and renewable energy projects.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering and practical understanding of Electricity principles and standards.
• Candidates should possess hands-on knowledge of Power Distribution systems, including load management and protection schemes.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar electrical design tools) and familiarity with national/international electrical codes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to safety, quality, and reliability.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage deadlines, and work on-site at project locations when required.
• Prior experience in solar, wind, or energy storage projects is an advantage.
