We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design to join our growing team in India. The successful candidate will be part of projects and engineering team.
Job Responsibilities:
Design:
- Designs, develops, tests, and maintains electrical systems and components, creating schematics, using CAD software,
- Ensuring safety and code compliance, - IEC, IS, IEEE, ISO,UL etc
- Collaborating with other engineers on projects like power systems, electronics, or control instruments, requiring strong analytical skills
- Create electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications
- Perform detailed calculations and simulations to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Choose appropriate electrical components and materials for projects.
- Prepare technical documents, reports, and user manuals.
- Build and test prototypes, analyzing results to refine designs.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical design issues.
- Understanding of mechanical design elements
- Effective management of personal project tasks; working effectiveness in individual and team projects, and across multiple departments
- Constantly study current best practices across the industry and implement the same by adapting/customizing as required
- Works with manufacturing personnel to support and test products to ensure compliance with specifications
- Coordinate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to facilitate flawless execution of the project and continue to effectively manage relationships with all stakeholders
- Participate in equipment FAT, as required.
- Validate/ witness the testing and commissioning of all electrical equipment with regards to design/ SLD to ensure smooth SAT and IST
Safety:
- Prepare guidelines for safety checks / risks assessment for electrical equipment and accordingly create checklists
- Drive compliance to safety norms by contractors during the construction phase
Qualities You Should Have:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in data centre designs & projects
- Prior experience in data centre infrastructure executing mission critical facilities
- Prior experience in managing data centre projects and handover to stakeholder within schedule
- Must have experience/ engaged for carrying out IST with hyperscale customers in data centre projects
Other Added Advantages:
- ATD
- Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP), Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP), or similar, are highly desirable.
