We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer with 9-10 years of experience in the design field, preferably in the industrial segment. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in electrical system design, calculations, and layout preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical design calculations such as short circuit analysis, earthing calculation, lighting calculation, cable sizing, equipment sizing, and Lightning Protection System (LPS) design.
Work with detailers to develop detailed construction documents including lighting layout, cable tray layout, power distribution layout, cable routing, cable schedule, LPS layout, earthing layout, and ELV system layout.
Prepare BOQ/BOM for entire electrical projects.
Design and layout for ELV-IT systems, including structured cabling, CCTV, security systems, and more.
Ensure designs comply with relevant IS, NBC, and IEC standards.
Conduct inspection and routine testing of electrical equipment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Skills & Qualifications:
B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
9-10 years of relevant experience in electrical design (Industrial segment preferred).
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, MS Office, and ETAP.
In-depth knowledge of IS, NBC, and IEC standards.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
