Job Description:
- Design calculation and sizing of equipment/systems such as Transformer sizing, Cable sizing, Earthing & Lightning protection calculations, illumination calculations, Fault level calculations, Relay settings & coordination studies, etc.
- Establish design criteria, prepare procurement specifications, evaluate bids, and manage contracts for various Electrical equipment like Transformers, Cables, MCC, VFD/Soft starters, motors, etc.
- Candidate shall be conversant with the review of vendor documentation such as Rectifier Transformer, HT & LT Panel, HT & LT Cables datasheet, VFD & Soft starters, Rectifier panels, HT & LT Motors, Cable trays, Lighting material, etc.
- Candidate shall be able to demonstrate the optimized Engineering solutions that will comply to Project estimated BOQ/Cost sheet.
- Candidate shall be able to review the cable routing, cable tray sizing, earthing routing, lighting system and its circuiting and shall be able to guide a team of designers & draftsman for preparation of execution drawings.
- Candidates having experience in Renewable Energy systems like Solar, Wind, etc., shall be preferred
- Play a lead role in designing equipment and plant layout for industrial projects.
- Review vendor proposal and drawings.
- Candidate shall be able to demonstrate the safety concern at all levels of Engineering design.
- Work within the company policy as outlined by Hygenco Green Energies Pvt Ltd.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited Engineering College/Institute
- 5-6 years experience in Plant equipment and systems Engineering with heavy industrial projects such as refineries, petro-chemical complexes, power plants, etc.
- Must have an advanced knowledge of Electrical engineering and design, and be familiar with applicable Codes, standards, and acceptable industry practices, etc.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be capable of interacting with other Engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and clients.
- Proficiency in doing simulations on software such as ETAP/SKM Power Tools, Dialux, etc. will be preferred.
