Electrical Design Engineer - E-PLAN

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in EPLAN software and electrical design for Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panel design, PLC wiring, and electrical schematics for customized machinery and automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

·      Design and develop electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and wiring diagrams for SPM machines using EPLAN Electric P8.

·      Prepare electrical drawings, control panel layouts, cable schedules, terminal plans, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

·      Design electrical systems for PLC-controlled machines, servo drives, VFDs, sensors, motors, and actuators.

·      Select appropriate electrical components, including circuit breakers, contactors, relays, power supplies, and safety devices.

·      Coordinate with mechanical design, PLC programming, production, assembly, and commissioning teams.

·      Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable industrial standards and customer specifications.

·      Support electrical panel manufacturing, machine wiring, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.

·      Revise electrical drawings based on engineering changes and customer requirements.

·      Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of electrical design activities.

Required Skills

·      Hands-on experience in EPLAN Electric P8 for electrical design and documentation.

·      Experience in electrical design for Special Purpose Machines (SPM) or customized industrial machinery.

·      Good knowledge of PLC, HMI, servo systems, VFDs, sensors, motors, and industrial control circuits.

·      Knowledge of electrical panel design, power distribution, control wiring, and component selection.

·      Ability to interpret electrical schematics and support machine assembly and commissioning.

·      Understanding of electrical safety standards and industrial automation practices.

·      Good coordination, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
