Job Summary:
Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in Dry utilities design for large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medium and low voltage underground power distribution, external lighting design, and pump station electrical design. The role requires someone with a deep understanding of industry standards, electrical design software, and previous experience working on infrastructure projects in the Middle East region.
Essential Qualification :
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant design experience in Dry utilities engineering, particularly in infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on Middle Eastern projects involving dry utilities is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEC/IEEE, SEWA, DEWA, and ADDC standards.
- In-depth knowledge of medium and low voltage underground power distribution systems and their planning and execution.
- Proven expertise in External lighting design for street lighting and other outdoor applications.
- Skilled in equipment sizing calculations to ensure proper design and function of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in the use of design and analysis software including Civil 3D, ETAP,AutoCAD,Dialux (for outdoor street and external lighting calculations).
- Experience in pump station electrical design and related infrastructure work.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work within a team, and manage client relationships effectively.
