Full-time remote role (India) supporting the Riyadh office. This position focuses on the review of design packages, multi-project shop drawing review, material submittals and procurement-related technical evaluations for electrical and low-current systems. You will directly support our technical/site and procurement teams in ensuring technical compliance and bid accuracy across all projects.
About the Role
All tasks will be carried out under the supervision of the Electrical and Mechanical Engineers based in the Riyadh office. You will be required to perform all engineering activities included but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Review of design packages: Perform comprehensive review of design packages (Concept, Schematic, and Detailed Design) to ensure full coordination with Architecture and MEP disciplines and adherence to project briefs.
- Procurement-related technical evaluations: Provide procurement-related technical evaluations, analyzing vendors bids for electrical components to ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
- Shop drawing reviews: Perform shop drawing review across multiple projects and resolving coordination issues.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs and site implementations adhere to Electrical standards, and local Saudi regulations.
- Material Submittal reviews: Perform the review of material submittal in line with the projects drawings, BOQ, project specifications etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP design and/or construction document review. 4 yrs GCC experience is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Electrical systems (LV and MV systems, lighting, power distribution & earthing)
- Low Current (ELV) systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Data/Telecom, Public Address, Structured Cabling
- BMS interface with electrical systems (power monitoring, control panels, integration points)
- Experience in:
- Shop drawing review and coordination of ELV systems
- Technical submittals and compliance verification
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC, BS, relevant ELV standards) and local authority requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office
- Ability to coordinate with Mechanical team for BMS integration
