Electrical Design Engineer (AutoCAD Electrical)

Must-Have

• Strong expertise in electrical design for Power plant and Industrial plant systems.

• Strong expertise in AutoCAD Electrical with focus on electrical single line, schematics, wiring, and cabling drawings.

• Coordinate with Electrical Engineers to understand design requirements and implement modifications.

• Understanding IEC standards to understand symbols, wiring systems, drawings requirements etc.

• Good communication skills in English and French.

Good to Have • Experience with Enovia PLM workflows

Job Description

Engineering Deliverables Development

• Prepare, update, and maintain:

o Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)

o Protection and Metering Diagrams

o Load Lists

o Electrical Equipment Lists

o Motor Lists

o Consumer Lists

o Engineering Design Documentation

• Incorporate engineering comments and design changes into project deliverables.

• Ensure consistency across electrical documentation and project databases.

• Support consolidation of vendor information into project design documents.

• Resolve technical drafting comments generated during vendor document reviews.

• Manage engineering deliverables within PLM and document control systems.

• Maintain: Drawing numbers, Revision history, Engineering databases

• Ensure compliance with project management procedures and quality requirements.

• Coordinate with document controllers and engineering teams for timely document issuance.
