Senior Project Engineer
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create the design of equipment, systems, or installations or modifies the pre-engineered designs for assignments by applying standard design concepts. Each day, you will assist in designing engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to specification. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors Division in Vadodara Gujarat. In this role you will be reporting to Electrical Design Manager
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supporting the preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet the contractual obligations, adhering to safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements.
- Ensuring that Bill of Materials for the project meets contractual obligations.
- Assisting technical risk assessments and implements the resulting actions in their projects.
- Participating in workshops pertaining to engineering design, tools, and processes.
- Collaborates with the Supply Chain function and the Project Manager(s) to meet the contractual requirements.
- Coordinates with Manufacturing and Testing functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured/staged and tested.
This role is graded at GGS 15.
Qualifications For The Role
- BE/BTECH Electrical Engineering with 1-2 years of experience in Electrical Design.
- Ability to demonstrate your knowledge in electrical design & engineering.
- Possess an excellent knowledge in design of equipment, systems, or installations or modifies the pre-engineered designs.
- You are at ease communicating in English.
