ELECTRICAL BILLING AND ESTIMATION
Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Billing Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate billing estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for electrical projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical billing estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to gather necessary data for accurate billing.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities for billing purposes.
- Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure compliance in billing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all billing documents and correspondence with clients and subcontractors.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies related to billing and quantities with clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly billing reports and forecasts for management review.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in estimation software and tools related to electrical projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards in India.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of project management principles is a plus.
