Job Title: Electrical Architect


In this role, you have the opportunity to maintain validate and verify electrical components, (sub-) systems and solutions of the Interventional Guided Therapy Systems (fixed interventional X-ray systems).

You will work within an R&D multi-disciplinary team. You take care of the total system demonstrating that our systems (including components, units and 3rd party products) comply with the international standards and safety regulations.

You are a part of
Lifecycle Management Team - Pune Department within the Mechatronics Development Cluster of R&D IGT
Systems in Best, Netherlands. The department consists of an open and multi-cultural team working on lifecycle
management (PQ&M) and new product introductions (PDLM).We work with SAFe in Hybrid model.
Your role:

  • Maintenance of our electrical and electronics components and systems

  • Electronics and electric specifications, requirements, verification, reporting and documentation maintenance and update.

  • Assuring design quality, reliability and patient safety of our medical products and systems developed by Philips and our suppliers and partners.

  • Setting up and deploying test strategy and test plans to comply with Safety and EMC international standards and regulations.

  • Alignment with other functions (mechanical, mechatronics, norm compliance, test and validation, purchase, quality, other).

  • Automation of tests

  • Factory support

  • Successful cooperation with suppliers and partners

  • Successful cooperation within scrum teams and with projects


You're the right fit if:

  • A minimum a Master of Science or related technical degree in electrical-, electronics-, mechatronics engineering or related engineering discipline.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering environment

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical and electronics development and / or measurement (preferable experience in IEC60601 or other highly regulated industry)

  • Experience in life cycle management (LCM)

  • (Power) Electronics design experience

  • Electronics testing , verification and automation experience

  • Digital and analog electronics experience

  • ePLAN experience

  • VAVE hand on experience preferred
  • VAVE certification would be added advantage
  • Being an excellent team player
  • Able to work in cross functional teams

  • Good communication skills in English

  • Proactive and energetic

  • Hands on and accurate

  • Experience in SAFe is a pre

  • Quality and improvement driven

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.

This is an office - based role.
