Experience Required
Freshers with strong hands-on aptitude
(This is a hands-on mechanical/electrical infrastructure role (HVAC, electrical systems, fabrication) and not a software or desk-based engineering position.)
Qualification
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline preferred
Candidates with strong workshop/project experience will be prioritized
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Electrical and Mechanical Engineer who can design, build, and execute real-world engineering systems from the ground up.
This role goes beyond theoretical engineering; it requires working across CAD-based design (floor layouts, 3D modelling), thermal systems (heat), electrical systems, and mechanical motion setups, and translating these into fully functional, on-ground implementations.
The position is ideal for individuals who take ownership of problems end-to-end from concept, design, prototyping, execution, and optimization.
What You Will Work On
- Designing facility layouts and infrastructure systems using CAD tools (2D layouts, 3D models, system schematics)
- Building and optimizing systems involving:
- Heat transfer / thermal management
- Electrical systems and power distribution
- Mechanical motion and moving assemblies
- Creating custom-built infrastructure, tools, and workstations tailored to operational needs
- Developing end-to-end engineering solutions, from idea to physical deployment
- Working on in-house product and device development, including prototyping and testing
- Executing designs on-site, including installation, integration, and performance tuning
Key Responsibilities
- Translate operational problems into engineered solutions with clear CAD designs and execution plans
- Design floor layouts, system flows, and infrastructure models using tools like SolidWorks or similar
- Build and test systems involving electrical loads, thermal behavior, and mechanical movement
- Take complete ownership of projects from initial concept to final working system
- Work hands-on with fabricators, vendors, and workshops to bring designs to life
- Ensure safety, compliance, and system reliability across all implementations
- Analyze and improve energy usage, system efficiency, and operational performance
- Continuously iterate and improve systems based on real-world feedback
- Maintain structured documentation of designs, prototypes, and system changes
Skills & Competencies
- Strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
- Sound understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, load management, and safety standards.
- Knowledge of structural, mechanical, and system design fundamentals.
- Proficiency in engineering design and visualization using CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar)
- Practical understanding of how physical systems function in real-world environments.
- Ability to translate ideas into workable engineering solutions.
- Comfort working in field environments and hands-on settings.
- Awareness of safety, compliance, and engineering best practices.
- Problem-solving mindset with a builder and creator approach.
Learning and Growth Opportunity
- Opportunity to build real systems from scratch
- Exposure to diverse engineering challenges
- Direct involvement in research and practical innovation
- Fast learning curve with real responsibility
- Space to experiment and improve ideas
