Minimum Qualification and Requirements:
Qualifications-
• BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 10 to 12 years experience.
Experience-
• Oil & Gas and Power industry Experience essential.
• Minimum 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience as a QC Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) inspector for major equipment such as Switchgear, MCCs, Control Panels, Control Valves, MV/HV Motors, Transformers, UPS & Batteries, Power /Instrumentation cables, HVAC system etc. is preferred.
• Shop/Field inspection experience is mandatory.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Shop/Lab testing requirements as per national and international codes, standards, regulations, statutory requirement and procedures.
• A working knowledge of BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA codes and standards relating to electrical and instrumentation work.
• Familiar with fabrication of equipment/manufacturing process & QA/QC documentation is mandatory.
Job Requirements-
• Review of PO, specifications, datasheets, drawings and all other contractual requirements per client PO.
• Ensuring full compliance to Project quality Plan and procedures by the Manufactures.
• Perform inspection of Electrical & Instrumentation equipment during in-process, final assembly, Functional testing, Instrument calibration/safety check and upon complete readiness for shipment as per contractual requirements.
• Coordinate and witness satisfactory close-out of punch-lists.
• Perform review of QC documentation and certifications, as required.
• Report on daily inspection and testing activities and issuing non-conformance reports when the specification or procedural requirements are not met.
• Release of equipment for shipment upon closing all outstanding issues.
