Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced
Electrical & Controls Design Engineer / Project Lead with strong expertise in
Battery Pack and EV Charging Station product development. The role focuses on
electrical architecture design, PLC/control systems integration, and end-to-end product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical schematics for battery packs, battery modules, and EV charging systems
- Develop high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical and control architectures
- Design busbars for high-current battery applications
- Design and support wire harness systems, including conductor sizing, connector selection, and routing
- Manage cable routing within enclosures ensuring creepage and clearance compliance
- Perform electronic component selection (connectors, relays, fuses, sensors, protection devices)
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for 3D integration using SolidWorks
- Conduct design reviews, DFA/DFM, validation, testing, debugging, and stack-up analysis
- Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, ANSI, ISO, NEC, NFPA standards
- Prepare and maintain electrical schematics, PLC documentation, as-built drawings, and technical reports
