Job Description

Job Title:Electrical Assembly, Integration & Test (E-AIT) Technician

Duration: Full-time

Location: Sahakarnagar, Bengaluru

Qualification: Technical/professional diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar

Job Responsibilities

Perform assembly and integration of electronic sub-systems for Astrogate's laser communication systems ensuring alignment with design specifications

As part of the electronic integration perform harness definition, preparation & installation

Collaborate with System Engineers & Avionics team for the definition of test plans, test cases and procedures for electrical/ electronic subsystem testing at various integration levels

Support definition of quality metrics and acceptance procedures and criteria

Collaborate with Mechanical & Optical Engineers & AIT teams for integration of full laser communication terminal

Collaborate with Avionics, procurement team, for manufacturing of PCBs and managing inventory of electronics components & packages and other electrical/ electronic components

Conduct functional and system level tests to validate subsystem & system reliability across different models

Participate in environmental testing including thermo-vacuum, vibration shock tests & launch campaign support

Maintain accurate records of test results, generate comprehensive test reports, and ensure traceability of hardware and test configurations and

Report non-conformance, troubleshot and resolve issues effectively in a team setting

Support avionics sub-system test activities such as PCB & harness preparation; work with the avionics team to test and validate systems in lab or in field

Define, identify, and where necessary develop appropriate EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) for the support of tests and manage their design

Maintain all electrical / electronic test & measurement equipment's

Required Skills/Experience

Passionate about technical, hands-on work with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Experience with design, schematic and technical features of electronic products

Expertise in ESD handling protocols to protect sensitive electronics during testing

Familiarity with EGSE setups and testing environment maintenance

Knowledge of industry standards for PCB design & PCB manufacturing processes

Knowledge on debug and validation of various communication protocols including high-speed protocols such as LVDS, SERDES etc.

Effective communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

A high level of attention to detail; Methodical and structured work

Experience with SMD rework/soldering for quick debug/fixes

Desired Skills/Experience

Prior PCB design experience for aerospace/ satellite systems

Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment with knowledge of contamination control protocols and cleanroom standards

Experience with any ECAD tools

Knowledge of various EMI/EMC standards used in Industry

Experience with designing High-Speed Mixed signal boards

Certification in different skills related to electrical integration, such as crimping or soldering

Ability to converse in Kannada will be an added bonus
