Electrical & AC Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in lighting, power distribution, motors, and backup generators.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and codes.
• Perform routine electrical inspections and preventive maintenance.

Air Conditioning (AC) Maintenance

• Install, service, and repair all types of air conditioning systems (split, window, central HVAC).
• Troubleshoot refrigeration circuits, compressors, condensers, and related components.
• Monitor and maintain AC system performance for optimal cooling and energy efficiency.
• Clean and replace filters, check refrigerant levels, and perform leak detection.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE while working.
• Maintain logs of maintenance activities and service reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and external contractors when required.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory and environmental standards.

Emergency Support

• Respond promptly to electrical or HVAC breakdowns and emergencies.
• Provide technical support during power outages or HVAC failures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / ITI certification in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or equivalent technical field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as an electrical and AC technician in healthcare or industrial settings preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and HVAC system components.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for electrical and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Knowledge of various AC systems and refrigeration principles.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness for handling installation and repair tasks.
