Role Description
This is a full-time work from office role for an Electric Motor Design Engineer, based in Noida with some flexibility for remote work. The role involves designing and developing high-performance electric motors, working with cutting-edge technologies like Axial Flux Motors. Key responsibilities include 3D CAD design and electromagnetic simulation using Maxwell and other tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing motor efficiency, and contributing to innovative product development. The engineer will ensure designs meet performance, cost, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering, Product Design, and developing innovative motor solutions.
- Expertise in 2D and 3D electromagnetic simulation using tools like Maxwell and JMAG.
- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering with a focus on motor systems.
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and evaluation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in optimizing design for performance and cost.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Experience in the development of axial flux motors or electric drive systems is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) is required; a Ph.D. in a relevant field is advantageous.
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping, testing methodologies, and validation techniques is highly desirable.
