Job Title: Associate - Elastomer
Division: Weir Minerals
Location: Bengaluru
Shift Timings:
- 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Purpose of Role:
We are looking for a site-based Elastomer Technician to join our team at Weir Minerals Bangalore on a permanent basis. As an Elastomer Technician, you will be responsible for the operations of elastomer press equipment in line with production requirements and WMA Standard Operation Procedures. We currently have openings for the following shifts:
- Morning shift | 6 AM - 2 PM
- Day shift | 2 PM - 10 PM
- Night shift | 10 PM - 6 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
- Base rubber preparation and winding for hose
- Fabric preparation for hose
- Knurling between the wire pitch for hose
- Cutting and finishing for hose
- Hydro testing for hose
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing industries (preference for hose building operator)
- Hose building semi-auto machine operation experience
- Strong safety awareness
