About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with a strong background in functional and automation testing within Salesforce ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Salesforce testing frameworks, automation tools, and CI/CD processes, ensuring high-quality releases across multiple Salesforce modules and integrations.
This role is critical in maintaining the integrity, scalability, and reliability of our Salesforce applications supporting business-critical Responsibilities :
Test Planning And Strategy
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce implementations, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom solutions.
- Define and enforce quality assurance best practices and standards across the QA lifecycle.
Functional And Regression Testing
- Perform end-to-end functional, system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
- Validate data integrity, workflows, and process automation across Salesforce environments.
Automation And CI/CD
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Provar, or TestNG.
- Integrate automation testing within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
API And Integration Testing
- Test REST/SOAP APIs, third-party integrations, and middleware platforms to ensure seamless connectivity with Salesforce.
Defect Management And Reporting
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure timely resolution and release readiness.
Performance And Security Testing
- Conduct load testing and security validation to ensure compliance and scalability of Salesforce applications.
Collaboration And Documentation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, and product management.
- Maintain detailed QA documentation and ensure knowledge transfer across Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Salesforce QA, with a focus on automation and functional testing.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning components, and Apex testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, Provar, TestNG, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, or Python) for automation tasks.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Solid understanding of testing best practices, QA processes, and defect lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication Qualifications :
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce QA Automation Specialist.
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized deployments.
- Experience in testing large-scale enterprise Salesforce implementations
