Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Environment, Health, and Safety Manager. The primary responsibilities include managing and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations, overseeing occupational health practices, conducting accident investigations, and implementing preventive measures. The role also involves developing and delivering comprehensive training programs aimed at promoting a safe workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• EHS laws & statutory compliance (Fire, Labour, Environmental)
• Fire & Life Safety systems management and emergency response planning
• Risk assessment (HIRA) and incident investigation
• Contractor and vendor safety management, including Permit-to-Work systems
• Environmental management (Waste management, STP/WTP, sustainability initiatives)
• EHS audits, documentation, and records maintenance
• Conducting safety training, inductions, and awareness programs
• Strong communication skills and effective crisis-handling capability

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Science / Environmental Studies
• Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory / preferred)
• NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO 45001 Lead Auditor added advantage
• 610 years of EHS experience in corporate offices, commercial buildings, IT parks, or facility management
• Strong knowledge of statutory EHS compliance, Fire & Life Safety, and environmental regulations
