Description
We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager for the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to lead our environmental, health, and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS management, along with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to EHS standards.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on EHS policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain EHS reports and documentation for management review and regulatory compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management or a related field.
- 9-14 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices in India.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports for management decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
