EHR Developer US Healthcare

DigiPrima Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior EHR Developer with strong expertise in US healthcare systems, particularly Epic, AdvancedMD, and EHR adapter development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining healthcare applications and EHR interfaces while collaborating directly with US-based clients and technical leadership.

We are seeking a technically strong professional with excellent communication skills who can independently manage client discussions, understand healthcare workflows, and deliver reliable integration solutions under the guidance of the CTO.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including Epic and AdvancedMD.
• Develop and maintain healthcare adapters, connectors, APIs, and data exchange interfaces.
• Work with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 v2, FHIR, and relevant EHR APIs.
• Integrate clinical, patient, appointment, provider, and billing data across healthcare systems, as required.
• Understand US healthcare workflows, clinical processes, and healthcare data management requirements.
• Collaborate directly with US clients to gather requirements, discuss technical solutions, and provide project updates.
• Work closely with the CTO on architecture, technical decisions, implementation, and delivery.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, ensure data accuracy, and maintain application reliability.
• Follow healthcare data privacy and security requirements, including HIPAA-related safeguards.
• Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, and implementation plans.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with EHR adapter development and healthcare system integrations.
• Practical experience with Epic and/or AdvancedMD integrations.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, authentication, and data exchange.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards.
• Experience with databases, data mapping, transformation, validation, and error handling.
• Understanding of US healthcare workflows and clinical data structures.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and production support for healthcare integrations.

Communication

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to interact directly with US-based clients and technical stakeholders.
• Confidence in leading technical discussions, clarifying requirements, and explaining solutions.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with the CTO.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating with Epic APIs, FHIR endpoints, or other supported Epic interoperability interfaces.
• Experience with AdvancedMD APIs or integration interfaces.
• Familiarity with SMART on FHIR, OAuth 2.0, and healthcare data security.
• Experience with clinical data exchange, practice management systems, or medical billing integrations.
• Previous experience working with US healthcare organizations or healthcare technology companies.
