Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and responsible EEG Technician to perform electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures, ensuring accurate data acquisition and proper patient care. The technician will work closely with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to support the diagnosis and monitoring of neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized EEG procedures as prescribed by the treating physician or specialist.
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures and ensure correct electrode placement.
- Operate EEG equipment and obtain accurate, high-quality recordings.
- Monitor patients during procedures and document relevant observations.
- Maintain EEG equipment and follow infection-control, safety, and departmental protocols.
- Coordinate with psychiatrists, neurologists, and other members of the clinical team, as required.
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and EEG procedure documentation.
Qualification & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in EEG Technology, or a relevant Allied Health field. Candidates with any B.Sc. degree or other relevant graduate qualification may also be considered.
- Good Computer Skills (MS Office, typing, data entry)
- Good English Reading & Writing Skills
- Willingness to learn EEG procedures (Training will be provided).
Experience
- 0–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
Skills
- Good knowledge of EEG procedures and electrode placement.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
