Job Description

EE Network Engineer – Automotive

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 5+ Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Open Positions: 4

We are looking for an experienced EE Network Engineer with strong expertise in in-vehicle network architecture, ECU integration, network configuration, validation, diagnostics, and automotive communication protocols across vehicle programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and support in-vehicle network architectures based on CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet.
  • Define network topology, message routing, bandwidth allocation, network management, and diagnostics.
  • Support ECU integration across ADAS, Infotainment, Body, Powertrain, and Telematics domains.
  • Coordinate with EE Architecture, System Engineering, and Tier-1 suppliers for network design and implementation.
  • Configure and validate DBC, LDF, ARXML, and FIBEX files.
  • Perform network simulation, testing, and validation activities on bench and vehicle.
  • Support diagnostics communication using UDS on CAN and Ethernet.
  • Debug and resolve network communication, bus load, latency, and timing issues.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM standards, ASPICE processes, and quality requirements.
  • Support SOP activities, change management, and field issue analysis.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in CAN / CAN-FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
  • Good understanding of Vehicle E/E Architecture.
  • Experience in Network Configuration, Debugging, ECU Integration, and Validation.
  • Familiarity with Diagnostics Protocols such as UDS and OBD.
  • Experience working with OEMs and Tier-1 Suppliers.
  • Knowledge of ASPICE Development Lifecycle.

Tools & Technologies:

  • CANoe
  • CANalyzer
  • Automotive Ethernet Tools
  • Network Simulation & Logging Tools
  • ECU Flashing & Diagnostics Tools

Preferred:

  • Experience with FlexRay Networks.
  • Exposure to Gateway ECUs and Network Routing Strategies.
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
  • Awareness of Automotive Cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
  • Experience supporting multiple vehicle platforms and programs.

Education: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech – Electrical / Electronics / Automotive / Mechatronics Engineering
