Role Description This is a Partnered full/Part-time Educational Counselor role with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site responsibilities with some work-from-home flexibility. The Educational Counselor will advise students and learners on academic pathways, programs, and institutions aligned with their interests, strengths, and long-term goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, administering and interpreting career or aptitude assessments, and guiding learners through application, admission, and enrollment processes. The role will involve collaborating with internal teams and educational partners, maintaining accurate student records, and contributing to outreach events, seminars, and workshops. The Educational Counselor will also stay current on education trends, curricula, and career opportunities to provide informed, evidence-based guidance and support to diverse learner profiles.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Education and related fields, with an understanding of academic pathways, curricula, and institutional structures.
  • Demonstrated experience in Educational Consulting and Student Counseling, supporting learners in making informed academic and personal development decisions.
  • Proficiency in Career Counseling, including helping students explore options, interpret assessment results, and plan realistic career trajectories.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear written and verbal expression, and the ability to present information to individuals and groups.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline; a master's degree or formal counseling certification is an advantage.
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations in a non-judgmental, inclusive, and culturally sensitive manner.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., office productivity software along with online conferencing tools.
