Role Description The Educational Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The counselor will guide students through the process of exploring academic options, shortlisting universities, and choosing degree programs that align with their interests and career goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing student profiles, and providing tailored advice on education pathways and career trajectories. The role involves explaining admission requirements, application timelines, and program details, as well as helping students understand university comparisons available on the platform. The counselor will collaborate with the internal team to refine guidance resources, maintain accurate information about institutions and courses, and contribute to webinars, workshops, and other student engagement activities.
Qualifications

Strong Educational Consulting and Education domain knowledge, with the ability to interpret academic programs and admission criteria.
Proven Student Counseling and Career Counseling experience, focused on guiding learners toward suitable academic and career paths.
Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear explanation of complex information, and empathetic interaction with students and families.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Experience working with Indian higher education institutions and awareness of current admission trends and policies.
Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, manage multiple student cases, and maintain detailed and accurate records.
Proficiency with digital tools, CRM or counseling management systems, and online research to support student guidance.
