Educational Counselor | 5 days Working | 0 - 1yrs Experience

As an Education Counsellor, you will guide prospective students in identifying suitable higher-education options and support them through the counselling and enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Communicate with prospective students to understand their academic background and career aspirations, and recommend relevant UG/PG programs based on their requirements.
2. Provide clear information on program structure, eligibility, fees options and the overall admission process.
3. Manage inbound and outbound student enquiries, address queries and provide appropriate guidance throughout the admission journey.
4. Track interested students through different stages of the admission process and ensure timely action on pending follow-ups.
5. Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, follow-ups and admission status in the CRM.
6. Convert eligible and interested candidates into enrollments and ensure completion of the admission process.
7. Achieve assigned weekly and monthly admission targets.

Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline
• 0–1 year of experience in EdTech, education counselling, admissions, inside sales or a similar role. (Candidates with relevant EdTech experience will be preferred).
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly in Hindi and English.
• Positive, approachable and comfortable interacting with students over calls.
• Comfortable working towards defined admission goals and learning in a target-oriented environment.
