About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and student-focused Educational Counsellor to guide students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad. The candidate will be responsible for understanding students academic and career goals, recommending suitable courses and universities, and supporting them throughout the overseas education application process.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students regarding Study Abroad / Overseas Education opportunities.

Understand students academic background, career goals, interests, and financial preferences.

Provide accurate information about courses, universities, countries, eligibility, and admission requirements.

Guide students on suitable destinations such as USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Germany, and other countries.

Assist students with the university/course selection and application process.

Explain requirements related to IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, etc., wherever applicable.

Guide students regarding application documentation, SOP, LOR, resumes, and other admission requirements.

Coordinate with universities, institutions, and internal admission teams.

Follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and meetings.

Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, applications, and follow-ups in CRM/Excel.

Support students with the visa application process and coordinate with the visa processing team.

Achieve assigned counselling and student conversion targets.

Stay updated on university intakes, admission requirements, scholarships, and visa guidelines.

Required Skills

Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong counselling and convincing abilities.

Good knowledge of Study Abroad / Overseas Education processes.

Ability to understand and explain university/course information clearly.

Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.

Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

Comfortable working with targets and deadlines.

Basic knowledge of MS Office/CRM tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.

Experience in Overseas Education / Study Abroad / Educational Counselling is preferred.

Candidates with experience in student counselling, admissions, inside sales, or international education can also apply.

Salary

18,000 – 20,000 per month + Incentives

(Depending on experience and interview performance)
