Job Description

Position Title: International Ivy League Counsellor

Looking for a proactive, persuasive, and student-focused Tele Counsellor who can build meaningful relationships with prospective students and parents while driving enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management & Follow-Up

  • Contact prospective students and parents through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
  • Qualify leads and understand their academic background, goals, and study abroad aspirations.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with interested prospects.
  • Build trust and nurture leads throughout the decision-making journey.

Appointment Scheduling

  • Schedule strategy sessions and consultations with senior counsellors.
  • Ensure high attendance rates for scheduled sessions through timely reminders and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to manage appointment calendars efficiently.

Student Counselling & Conversion

  • Explain Intelligent Education's services, programs, and value proposition.
  • Address student and parent queries professionally and confidently.
  • Guide prospective clients through the enrolment process.
  • Convert qualified leads into paying clients while maintaining a consultative approach.

CRM & Reporting

  • Update lead interactions, follow-up notes, and status updates in the CRM system.
  • Track daily call activities, appointments scheduled, and conversions.
  • Prepare regular reports on lead engagement and sales performance.

Relationship Management

  • Maintain positive relationships with students and parents throughout the admissions journey.
  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective clients.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and empathy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Confident and persuasive telephone communication.
  • Ability to handle objections and guide conversations effectively.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable working with targets and performance metrics.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in tele-calling, counselling, admissions, sales, customer success, or business development.
  • Prior experience in education, study abroad, EdTech, or consulting industries will be an advantage.
  • Graduate in any discipline.
