Summary of the role:

We are looking for a highly driven Education Partnerships & Business Development Manager to lead revenue generation and strategic partnerships for our education vertical.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, alliances, and student recruitment growth, where the candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acquiring new international university clients
  • Building strong partnerships (agents, institutions, corporates, schools)
  • Driving student recruitment outcomes for existing clients

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development (New Client Acquisition)

  • Identify and engage international universities/HEIs looking to expand in India
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycle: outreach → pitch → proposal → closure
  • Develop customised market entry and recruitment solutions
  • Represent T&A in global education events, conferences, and delegations
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets

2. Partnerships & Alliances (India Market)

  • Build and manage a network of:
  • Student recruitment agents
  • Schools, colleges, and coaching institutes
  • Corporate and institutional partners
  • Structure high-impact alliances that drive student pipelines
  • Negotiate and onboard channel partners across key cities

3. Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Analyse student mobility trends and competitor activity
  • Identify high-potential geographies and segments
  • Provide insights to clients on improving their India strategy

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a single point of contact for key university clients
  • Build strong relationships with CXOs, Admissions Heads, and International Offices
  • Collaborate internally with:
  • Marketing team
  • Research team
  • Student recruitment teams

Desired Profile:

  • ·Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Education, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles, in the education sector, EdTech / university representation / study abroad sector
  • Strong understanding of Global higher education landscape
  • Student recruitment ecosystem in India
  • Proven track record of: Revenue generation / client acquisition
  • Building partnerships or agent networks
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly self-driven with a hunter mindset + relationship orientation
