Role OverviewAs an Education Counsellor at Gradzest, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their educational journey. You will provide expert advice on course selection, career pathways, and admission processes, ensuring each student receives personalized support aligned with their aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with prospective students and parents.
- Understand students academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable programs.
- Assist students with application processes, documentation, and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
- Collaborate with the Data Analyst to interpret student data and improve counselling strategies.
- Organize webinars, workshops, and info sessions to promote Gradzest's offerings.
- Stay updated on educational trends, university admissions, and scholarship opportunities.
- Provide post-admission support and follow-ups to ensure student satisfaction.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in academic counselling or student advisory roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and student management systems is a plus.
