Role Description The Education Counselling Internship at Indo European is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. Interns will assist in guiding students on education pathways, including course selection, institution options, and application processes. Day-to-day tasks include conducting initial student interactions, gathering academic and personal information, and providing clear information about programs, admission criteria, and timelines. Interns will support senior counsellors during counselling sessions, help prepare presentations and informational materials, and maintain accurate records of student interactions in internal systems. The role also involves responding to student and parent queries, coordinating follow-ups, and contributing to seminars, workshops, or information sessions organized by the team.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Education and Teaching skills to understand academic pathways and explain options clearly to students.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with students, families, and institutional representatives.
• Candidates should possess Training-related skills to support counselling sessions, workshops, and orientation activities for students.
• Ability to build rapport, listen actively, and provide empathetic guidance to diverse student backgrounds.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage.
• Comfort with using computers, online research, and basic office software for documentation and communication.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Interest in career guidance, international education, or student support services, with a willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
