Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located at the upGrad Kolkata Centre for an EdTech Tele Advisor. The Tele Advisor will need to connect with prospective students via phone calls to provide information about upGrad's educational programs and course offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include calling 100 prospects, understanding the needs of potential learners, guiding them in choosing relevant courses, and fixing an appointment for the prospects with Counsellors. The role also requires maintaining accurate records of interactions, achieving enrollment targets, and collaborating with the team to enhance student onboarding experiences.
Remuneration will be Fixed Pay of 10000 per month + Performance based incentives.
Qualifications
- Graduate, preferably in Science or Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of work experience with a minimum of 1 years in Edtech or Education Consultancy
- Must have own laptop
- Strong verbal communication skills and active listening abilities for effective counseling
- Sales and persuasion skills to achieve counselling targets.
- Skills to maintain detailed records and manage information efficiently
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to a dynamic workplace
- Previous experience in Education or Edtech Telecalling role is an added advantage
- Professional qualifications or certifications are a plus
