Role Description The Edtech STEM Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Puducherry. The trainer will design and deliver interactive STEM lessons and workshops, with a focus on robotics, programming, and technology concepts suited to different age groups and learning levels. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, demonstrating hardware and software tools, guiding learners through hands-on projects, and assessing their progress. The trainer will also support curriculum development, contribute to educational content creation, and collaborate with the team to integrate industry-relevant automation and R&D activities into learning modules. Additional duties may involve organizing STEM events, coordinating with schools or training centers, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in STEM disciplines such as robotics, electronics, mechanical systems, and basic programming.
- Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring learners in a classroom, lab, or workshop setting.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging, project-based learning activities and educational content.
- Familiarity with industrial automation concepts, tools, or platforms is an advantage.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
- Comfort with using educational technology, learning management systems, and digital tools for instruction.
- Collaborative mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple sessions or batches.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field; teaching or training certifications are a plus.
- Interest in research and development in STEM education, and willingness to continuously learn and update skills.
