Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an EdTech Business Development Executive based in Bengaluru. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the education technology sector, including prospecting, lead generation, and building a strong sales pipeline. The Business Development Executive will engage with schools, colleges, training institutes, and other education partners to introduce Globelance's offerings, deliver product presentations, and negotiate commercial terms. Responsibilities include managing key client accounts, maintaining long-term relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The role also requires close collaboration with marketing, product, and operations teams to refine go-to-market strategies, gather client feedback, and support revenue growth and market expansion.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in New Business Development and Business growth, with the ability to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and close deals in the EdTech or related sectors.
  • Proven experience in Lead Generation, including prospecting, pipeline building, and qualifying potential clients or partners.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and confident client interactions.
  • Hands-on Account Management experience, with a focus on relationship building, retention, and upselling or cross-selling to existing clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in EdTech, SaaS, or education services sales is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, travel for client meetings as needed, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
