Job Description
EDMS Engineer/ Document Controller
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for all projects.
- Configure workflows, user roles, and access permissions within EDMS.
- Train project teams on EDMS usage and provide technical support as needed.
- Generate system-based reports for project management.
- Manage project documentation in compliance with contract requirements and ISO standards.
- Check and review all documents/drawings before release.
- Maintain document version control, transmittals, and project records.
- Coordinate with project teams for timely submission and retrieval of documents.
- Prepare and maintain document indices and statistics for reporting.
Competence:
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in relevant discipline
- 2 to 7+ years in document control, preferably in EPC / Oil & Gas projects.
- Skilled in EDMS proficiency, attention to detail, organizational skills, communication
