Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of new publications and updates of existing ones within our CMS system, including templates, workflows and other customisations required.
  • Acting as the primary escalation point for business-critical publishing issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems on any process or aspect of the CMS in a timely manner and be able to escalate to other internal teams or the vendor, when necessary.
  • Assist users and help them to optimize their experience with the system.
  • Work closely with our in house technical and editorial teams to ensure the implementations requested are successfully delivered.
  • Fully understand and manage the workflow for the creation and publishing of charts, maps, data visualisations, documents and articles for platform delivery, contributing to the continuous development of new techniques and styles to enhance editorial work.
  • Help with end user training and support as required.
  • Availability to work on shifts including late evenings.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience at a technical/administrative/expert-user level of CMS systems including asset management, permissions, templating and editorial workflows.
  • Strong experience with Adobe InDesign.
  • Good understanding of desktop publishing technology in general, including managing fonts, graphical assets (raster and vector), colour management, and typesetting.
  • Good understanding of the technical architecture of complex applications and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clarity of communication (Precise, Succinct, Effective).
  • Highly organised and able to manage individual workload.
  • Flexibility / Adaptability.
  • Interest in continuous learning.

Desirable:

  • Experience with the Censhare CMS.
  • Adobe Certified Expert for Adobe InDesign.
  • Experience with Adobe InCopy, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with programming/scripting/mark-up languages, especially Xslt and InDesign scripting/plug-ins or extensions for Microsoft Office apps.
  • Experience with Cloud computing, in particular AWS.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday; with 1 hour for lunch.

There will be two shifts:

  • Morning Shift (11.00 AM to 8.00 PM IST)
  • Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM to 12.00 AM IST)
