Role Description
Saffronart is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Editorial Manager to execute written content across its
auctions, exhibitions, digital platforms, and media communications. The ideal candidate is a
strong editor and writer with a genuine interest in art, design, and culture, particularly within the
Indian context. This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for an Editorial Manager. The CTC for this role is INR 6-7.2 LPA.
There's also another role for Editorial Assistant on offer.
Responsibilities include:
Write and edit auction catalogue notes across art, jewellery, and design
Conduct in-depth research to support catalogue entries and editorial content
Research and source images for editorial content
Develop exhibition descriptions, wall texts, and interpretive materials
Handle press communications and respond to media queries
Write, edit, and distribute newsletters and support marketing communications
Script, storyboard, and produce video content for the website and social media platforms
Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and style across all content
Collaborate with marketing, design, and other stakeholders to meet deadlines and
project goals
The Editorial Manager will also work closely with other teams to align content with organisational goals.
