Do you have previous editorial experience and are looking to apply your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced digital newsroom The World Times, a growing digital media platform based in New Delhi, India, is offering a remote internship opportunity for experienced editors who want to sharpen their editorial leadership, content curation, and publishing skills.

Position: Editor Intern

Location: Remote

Type: Unpaid Internship

Duration: 2 Months

Responsibilities:

Edit and refine 67 articles per week submitted by writing interns across lifestyle, food, and entertainment beats

Ensure all content aligns with the platform's voice, grammar standards, and style guide

Suggest improvements in clarity, tone, structure, and storytelling

Work with writers to offer editorial feedback and support growth

Maintain consistency across all published materials

Coordinate with the editorial team to manage deadlines and content flow

Assist in content ideation and editorial planning

Requirements:

Strong command of grammar, editorial structure, and content strategy

Experience working with or mentoring junior writers (preferred)

Familiarity with SEO practices and CMS tools like WordPress

Ability to manage time, edit independently, and maintain high standards

Degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
