Job Description

Position: Editorial & Marketing Coordinator

Location: Delhi

Employment Type: Full-time

Reporting To: Head – UPSC Category (Editorial Business Head)

Role Overview We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Editorial Marketing Coordinator to strengthen our UPSC category. The role is primarily editorial-focused (70%), with a strongemphasis on content quality, accuracy, and publishing workflows, while also contributing to marketing coordination (30%) for campaigns and promotions.

Key Responsibilities:

Editorial Responsibilities (70%)

• Manage end-to-end editorial workflow for UPSC titles, from manuscript to print.

• Edit, proofread, and fact-check manuscripts to ensure academic accuracy, clarity, and exam relevance.

• Coordinate with authors, subject matter experts, and reviewers for content updates and approvals.

• Ensure logical flow, consistency in language, formatting, and error-free publishing.

• Maintain editorial calendars, deadlines, and version tracking.

• Work with design and production teams for smooth handover of final files.

Marketing Coordination Responsibilities (30%)

• Collaborate with the marketing team to provide content inputs (book highlights, features, USPs) for campaigns.

• Coordinate with digital marketing for creatives, social media posts, and ads.

• Assist in preparing marketing collaterals – one-pagers, catalogues, and presentations.

• Support author events, educator tie-ups, and book launches.

• Gather market feedback and competitor insights to refine content positioning. Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in English, Journalism, Publishing, or related fields.

• 2–4 years of editorial experience (publishing/edtech/education sector preferred).

• Excellent editing, proofreading, and content curation skills.

• Knowledge of UPSC/competitive exam ecosystem (preferred).

• Good coordination and project management abilities.

• Basic understanding of marketing communication and campaign support.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Docs; Canva/marketing tools is a plus.
