About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate IBM ITX / WTX Developer with strong experience in enterprise integration and EDI implementations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and supporting complex transformation solutions using IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX/ITX) in enterprise environments.

This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale B2B/EDI integrations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to mission-critical integration projects across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement complex EDI and integration solutions using IBM ITX/WTX

Build and maintain maps using Map Designer, Type Designer, and Database Interface Designer

Work with EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT

Develop XML/XSD-based transformation solutions

Integrate systems using AS2, SFTP, REST, SOAP, and related protocols

Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing WTX/ITX applications

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and technical teams for successful project delivery

Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, testing, deployment, and support activities

Ensure performance optimization and adherence to integration best practices

Required Skills

IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX/ITX) v8.2+

Map Designer, Type Designer, Database Interface Designer

Strong EDI knowledge – ANSI X12 & EDIFACT

XML Technologies – XSD (Mandatory), DTD

SQL and Database concepts

Experience with integration protocols: AS2, SFTP, REST, SOAP

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have

IBM Sterling Integrator experience

Azure Function Apps / Logic Apps

Exposure to enterprise middleware and message broker environments
