EDC / Axon SME (Informatica) – Data Governance & Data Catalog Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills (Must Have)

Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Axon Data Governance and Informatica EDC.
Proven capability in data governance implementation, business glossary setup, stewardship models, and workflows.
Experience with metadata management, data cataloging, classification, and end-to-end lineage.
Working knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL fundamentals, and enterprise data ecosystems (DW/Lake/Lakehouse).
Ability to troubleshoot scanner runs, connectivity, metadata extraction, and Axon-EDC synchronization issues.

Governance & Domain Skills

Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, policies/standards, and operating models.
Experience engaging stakeholders (Data Owners, Stewards, Compliance, Risk, Security) to drive adoption.
Knowledge of data quality, reference/master data concepts, and controls is an advantage.
