Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze ED patient charts and documentation for accurate coding.
  • Assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS level II Codes for diagnoses, procedures and services.
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy benchmarks as per company and client standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect patient information according to HIPPA standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 Year of experience in ED coding(Mandatory)
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS Coding systems.
  • Good analytical and communications skills.
