ECU Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Qualification: B.E/ M.Tech reliability/Design/thermal

Location: Bengaluru

Requirements:

. Prior experience in reliability of control units.

. Experience in Commercial vehicles domain is preferred.

. Knowledge of Field load calculations

. Ability to validate designs based on targeted failure modes

. Technical Failure Analysis and Risk Assessments based on the need

. Good understanding of Thermal, Mechanical & Thermo-mechanical phenomena during

validation

. Understanding of Concept of Design for Reliability (DfR, V-model etc)

. Knowledge of common failure modes of electronic components

. Aging laws for electronic components

. Risk analysis, PPM calculations

. Knowledge of statistical tools like Minitab, Weibull++

. Understanding customer requirements and transferring them to validation plan

. Writing a validation plan for product

. Usage of AEC-Q, ISO-16750, IEC, DIN Standards to derive test plan

. Knowledge of Validation test equipment's

. Thorough knowledge of conducting Ingress Protection (IP) tests

. Awareness of the AE & PS Processes

. 8D, CAR, DFMEA, FTA & DRBFM techniques

. Good knowledge of validation lab practices
