Ecosystem Engagement (Local Resource / Network Sourcing / Management)

We are seeking a dynamic Ecosystem Engagement Lead to drive startup and SMB community-building efforts within a designated hub. This pivotal role involves coordinating stakeholder networking, identifying local mentors and experts, and facilitating knowledge-sharing forums. You will be instrumental in fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem by building strong relationships with startups, SMBs, government agencies, universities, and corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Community & Network Building:
• Organize startup meetups, networking events, and investor roundtables to foster connections and opportunities.
• Facilitate peer learning groups, actively engaging founders in knowledge-sharing discussions.
• Foster collaborations with government agencies, universities, and other key ecosystem players.
• Government & Institutional Partnerships:
• Work closely with state startup missions, DST, and other government bodies to support ecosystem growth and development.
• Strengthen policy advocacy efforts, ensuring government initiatives are aligned with the needs of startups.
• Help startups and SMBs access relevant government-funded programs and incentives.
• Mentor & Corporate Connects:
• Expand the mentor network by actively engaging sector experts and corporate leaders.
• Facilitate startup-SMB collaboration opportunities.
• Organize showcases of founder success stories and ecosystem impact to inspire and attract further engagement.
• Cross-Hub Collaboration:
• Work with teams in other hubs to share best practices and coordinate large-scale ecosystem events.
• Ensure effective knowledge exchange across regions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community engagement, government liaison, or ecosystem building.
• Strong networking skills, with established connections to startup incubators, mentors, and corporates.
• Experience in event management, media engagement, and ecosystem storytelling.
